Director of Sales
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to perform as a full-time Director of Sales. This position is responsible for implementing and managing the company’s sales efforts, consistent with the company’s strategic and sales plan. This includes managing the sales team, helping to establish sales goals and strategies in support of the company’s annual business plan, and working directly with key customers. The Director of Sales manages portions of the budget, promotions and delivering revenue results established in the company’s annual plan. This position will also be responsible for providing analytical data demonstrating the effectiveness of various sales tactics.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or other related field with progressive managerial responsibilities. Candidates should also have 10 years of sales experience in the food industry. Natural and grocery food experience is preferred. The successful candidate must also have experience working directly with distributors, brokers and direct store distribution.
Raw Material Quality Engineer
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to fill its Raw Material Quality Engineer position. This position is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the rough rice laboratory, in support of nursery, planting, harvest, drying/storage and milling. This position is also responsible for evaluating and continuously improving test method accuracy, consistency and relevancy. Develop and implement new methods, equipment or laboratory standard operating procedures (SOP’s) which meet FGIS (federal grain inspection service) standards. The successful candidate will also work with Quality Manager, Agriculture, Grower Services and Manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality and manufacturing productivity issues.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, related technical field, or 8 years of relevant experience. Candidates must also have 5 years of commodity food or grain experience. Qualified candidates should possess at least three to five years’ experience in a food manufacturing/quality assurance, control capacity environment with two (2) years supervisory experience. Must also possess demonstrated expertise in implementing quality and food safety programs such as HACCP, GMP’s, Sanitation, allergen control and trace/recall, a thorough knowledge of quality engineering principals (i.e., SPC) and experience implementing general wet and dry chemical laboratory procedures. Candidates should be excellent communicators in both written and oral formats and be pro-active and collaborative at all levels of the organization.
Director of Quality Systems
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual as a full-time Quality Systems Director. This position is responsible for providing strategic direction for the company-wide Food Safety System and Product Quality Programs. This role will work directly with all divisions and levels to ensure regulatory and technical certification compliance, define consumer product quality requirements, lead product quality improvement initiatives and ensure food safety risk mitigation across the full supply chain.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as Food Science, Quality Management, or similar experience (Master’s Degree preferred.) Candidates should have a minimum of ten years in Quality Systems management within the food industry, as well as extensive knowledge in related food quality standards, food production management experience, and HACCP/food safety management. The successful candidate will possess excellent managerial, leadership and communication skills; and have over five years of managerial experience. Candidates should also have knowledge of and experience in trace/recall, critical process measurement, hazard analysis, and product design/specifications.
Environmental Health and Safety Manager
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual as a full-time Environmental Health and Safety Manager. This position is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to protect employees, customers and the environment through inspections and evaluations of the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards. The EHS Manager prevents and eliminates injuries and illness to employees and assists the company comply with all environmental health laws.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in occupational health, safety, or a related scientific field, such as biology, chemistry or engineering. Advanced degrees in health physics, industrial hygiene or a related subject are desired, but not required. Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional and Register Safety Director are preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of five years’ experience with safety in a manufacturing and/or agricultural production environment.

Facilities and Engineering Manager
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual as a full-time Facilities and Engineering Manager. This position is responsible for leading the engineering and maintenance teams, providing the technical direction necessary for defining, maintaining and improving site, facility, manufacturing processes and utilities. The F&E Manager will also be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating capital and non-capital projects that support business and manufacturing quality, service, cost, safety, and quality objectives.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (i.e. civil, mechanical, chemical, electric, material science.) Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 7 years’ technical expertise in project management, systems or process engineering or technical discipline engineering in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal applicant will have experience with mechanical and electrical blueprints, schematic development, PLC troubleshooting/programming and in-depth knowledge of process and control systems.
Sales and Operations Planning Manager
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to fill a full-time Sales and Operations Planning Manager position. The Sales and Operations Planning Manager will be responsible executing the S&OP process for Lundberg Family Farms. This will include facilitation of all data gathering and the communication necessary for the S&OP process, including S&OP meetings, Sales Forecast Review, developing Production and Procurement Plans, and Management review meetings. This position will also be responsible for S&OP process accuracy tracking and improvement, conducting intermediate to long term capacity studies, and establishing and reporting related business metrics. The S&OP Manager will also be a key member of the continuous improvement and SKU rationalization processes.
The successful application will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field, five years’ experience in related planning, manufacturing or finance field. APICS or other professional designation preferred. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems also preferred, in particular MRP/MPS/Production scheduling software knowledge and background. Candidates should be excellent communicators in both written and verbal formats, pro-active, collaborative at all levels of the organization and possess strong analytical skills.
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to fill a full-time Purchasing Manager position. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for executing direct and indirect material purchases for the company. The position will be responsible for monitoring requirements utilizing material requirements planning. The Purchasing Manager will develop strategic contracts to support ongoing operations for Lundberg Family Farms. This position will also engage in the continuous improvement process, contingency planning and support manufacturing to ensure bill of material accuracy. Additional responsibilities will include resolution of supplier issues, support of capital equipment procurement, obsolete inventory sales and maintaining targeted inventory levels.
The successful applicant will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field with 5-8 years of experience. Manufacturing and/or Food experience preferred, Bill of Material experience is also preferred, along with familiarity with MRP/MPS and Enterprise Resource Management systems. Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual as a full-time Accountant. This position is responsible for general ledger, financial statement and other general accounting and finance duties for Lundberg Family Farms. This position, under the supervision of the Controller, will create and analyze monthly financial statements, assist managers in variance review and prepare financial presentations. The Accountant will also be a contact with our external auditors, support Lundberg internal control processes and complete ad hoc assignments as requested.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience, new graduates will be considered with a strong educational record and preferably some related work experience. The successful candidate must also have experience with integrated ERP systems. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant a plus, audit experience a plus but not required.
