Small Grains Developer

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a full-time Small Grains Developer. This position will be responsible for developing small scale applications for drying, storing and processing small grains to be ready for sale to consumers, and scaling up capabilities as domestic supply grows. The Small Grains Developer will be responsible for meeting all food safety, quality, labeling and nutritional requirements, and business and profitability targets.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field. Three to five years of experience in a food-related industry in a technical role such as product development, process development, product commercialization, quality assurance or food manufacturing. Two or more years of manufacturing or process development experience preferred. Looking for a candidate with high energy, positive, can-do attitude; who is a team player and has the ability to take ownership and accountability.


Quality Systems Engineer

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to perform as a Quality Systems Engineer on a full-time basis. This position is responsible for delivering product quality, food safety, regulatory requirements and productivity to meet our customer/consumer expectations and business needs. In coordination with the Director of Quality Systems, this position is responsible for defining key consumer quality requirements and food safety system execution during new product development, commercialization, in-house manufacturing and contract manufacturing. The Quality Systems Engineer is also responsible for ensuring accurate nutrition and ingredient labeling, legality of health/wellness related claims and application of Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related technical field or have at least 7 years of relevant experience. Candidates must have 3 or more years of experience in a food manufacturing environment. Experience with product development and commercialization and with specialized nutritional database labeling software is beneficial. The successful candidate must possess strong knowledge and application of food safety programs, allergen control, quality engineering principals, and sensory science; SQF and HACCP Certification preferred.

Dryer/Storage Assistant Manager

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual to perform as a Dryer/Storage Assistant Manager on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for managing all D/S operations, ensuring the highest quality of rice product; communicate with D/S Manager on all department issues; communicate daily with personnel regarding goals, safety, problem solving, analyzing systems and training. The Dryer/Storage Assistant Manager will also be responsible for ensuring all rules and regulations are followed as outlined in SOP’s and ensure all D/S personnel are properly trained in operating all dryers, shipping and receiving procedures, and proper operation of grain handling equipment. This position must maintain a thorough working knowledge of all processes and equipment, including resolving problems and ensuring all records are initiated and maintained on a daily basis in Lundberg’s grain database.

The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of supervisory experience and possess excellent computer skills; a degree in Business or related field is preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, work well in a team atmosphere, and possess excellent communication skills. A strong attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure is a must. A background in mechanical engineering and an understanding of rice drying and storage, identity preservation, and organic certification rules and regulations are desirable.

Quality Assurance Technician

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to perform as a Quality Assurance Technician on a full-time basis. This position performs various types of hourly testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products in production. The Quality Assurance Technician maintains regulatory compliance with finished products. Additional responsibilities include providing information and assistance for the production and warehouse departments in the areas of sanitation and quality.

The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge of comprehensive food quality/food safety standards and be well versed in GMPs, personal safety and regulatory compliance. Candidates must have knowledge in food quality standards and knowledge of rice industry and processing/production systems. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve, and have experience in Microsoft Office.

Financial Analyst, Cost

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual for the full-time position of Financial Analyst, Cost. This position will be a key contact point between the Lundberg Family Farms’ Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Innovation and Finance teams. The Financial Analyst, Cost will support the organization through the development of models and analyses including: labor costing, activity costing, commodity pricing, inventory valuation, inventory risk, product pricing strategies and related costing models/analyses as needed by interdepartmental business partners. This position oversees cost control systems, manages and interprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to management. Additionally, the position will support financial closing and management reporting activities.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus. Candidates must have three years of accounting experience, have three years of product costing experience, including full absorption and applied costing methods, and have experience in Inventory Management; Targit, Tableau, Excel, and other data analysis tools experience preferred.

Swing Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual to perform as a Warehouseman on a full-time basis. This position assists with pulling and filling orders in the warehouse and assists supervisors with order accuracy, productivity levels, and facility maintenance. The Warehouseman is responsible for assuring the loads are correct, reporting discrepancies to the Warehouse office, and assuring all paperwork is in order before the trucks leave the Warehouse.

The successful candidate will have experience in computer inventory control, Microsoft Office, and forklift operations. Applicants must be able to work well in a team atmosphere and possess excellent communication and problem solving skills.
