Quality Assurance Manager

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual as a full-time Quality Assurance Manager. This position is responsible for all quality and regulatory related activities to meet company service, quality, cost, safety and personnel objectives, including development, implementation and monitoring of all necessary programs. The QA Manager will provide quality system leadership and technical direction with a focus on proactive quality improvement and product safety.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, related field or equivalent years of experience. Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ experience in the quality control or quality assurance in food industry. The successful candidate should be well versed in GMP, personal safety and regulatory compliance, and have the ability to translate business needs into strategies and viable action plans. Candidates should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, understand team based systems; participation, empowerment and embedding of accountability.

Small Grains Developer

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a full-time Small Grains Developer. This position will be responsible for developing small scale applications for drying, storing and processing small grains to be ready for sale to consumers, and scaling up capabilities as domestic supply grows. The Small Grains Developer will be responsible for meeting all food safety, quality, labeling and nutritional requirements, and business and profitability targets.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field. Three to five years of experience in a food-related industry in a technical role such as product development, process development, product commercialization, quality assurance or food manufacturing. Two or more years of manufacturing or process development experience preferred. Looking for a candidate with high energy, positive, can-do attitude; who is a team player and has the ability to take ownership and accountability.

Dryer/Storage Maintenance/Millwright

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to perform as a Dryer/Storage Maintenance – Millwright, on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for performing quality maintenance and repairs on all equipment used in the Drying and Storage Department, including ensuring a quality preventative and predictive maintenance program on all equipment in all plants. Also responsible for maintaining a written inventory of all spare parts, maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all processes and equipment related to the Department, and ensuring the security of all hand and power tools. Must understand preventative and predictive maintenance follow monthly maintenance schedules and organize used equipment storage area.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated and work well in a team atmosphere; possess excellent communication skills; and possess three to five years mechanical and welding experience. Must possess the ability to arc and oxygen/acetylene weld. A strong attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure is a must.

To be eligible for a transfer or promotion, current employees must have received positive performance assessment scores and not have had disciplinary actions within the past six months.

Sales Coordinator

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a full-time Sales Coordinator to provide the necessary support required by the outside sales contacts and the sales department which involves: documentation, research, coordination, and communication. This position will work with various departments and employees in order to provide support for the sales department.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, decision making, and personal organizational skills. Applicants should have at least two years administrative and customer service experience with increasing responsibilities, at least one year of data analysis experience, either through work or school. Experience with syndicated retail data (ie: Nielsen, IRI, SPINS) and CPG industry experience preferred but not required.

This position requires minimal travel. (2-3 times a year to support our Marketing team at various Trade Shows)

Planning Coordinator

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a full-time Planning Coordinator to coordinate, oversee, develop and direct the long-term strategic and annual business planning cycles for the organization. This position is responsible for coordination of the ongoing development of the strategic plan, as well as the annual plans that support its implementation. The Planning Coordinator monitors performance against the plan, and identifies gaps for management to pursue, as well planning, organizing and facilitating planning meetings.

The successful candidate will have superior project management, organizational, communication and analytical skills. It is essential that this person work well in multi-disciplinary teams and possess strong interpersonal skills. Prior experience in developing a business plan is required (whether in an academic, public or private setting), and experience in developing a strategic plan is preferred.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (or related field) is required. MBA preferred.

Continuous Improvement Analyst

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to perform as a Continuous Improvement Analyst on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will provide support for execution of continuous improvement projects, including opportunity identification and implementation. This position will also support the development and maintenance of floor level system performance tracking and communication tools in the Manufacturing Area of Focus. This role will also partner with Finance and S&OP to build a culture of data driven decision making that drives and sustains disciplined execution and continuous improvement company-wide.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Operations Management or related field. Candidates must have 1- 2 years’ experience in operations management or related area. Computer skills including experience with MS Office, basic Business Intelligence Tools and data mining experience preferred.

Customer Service Analyst

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual for the newly-created position of Customer Service Analyst. This full-time position will report to the Customer Service Manager. The Customer Service Analyst will work with customers and internal stakeholders to improve the efficiency of the order to fulfillment process. Key deliverables for the positon are to support supply chain efficiency via analyzing customer order patterns, inventory levels and demand requirements and working with customers to implement improvements. This positon will also support customer communication and issue resolution.

Candidates must have one to three years of customer service or related business experience. A bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred. Computer skills including MS Office and other data analysis tools required. Experience with an enterprise-wide planning system preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills required.


Process Improvement Supervisor

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a full-time experienced individual to perform as a Process Improvement Supervisor in our Rice Cakes Department. This position is responsible for identifying, leading, developing and executing solutions for quality and system performance improvements. The Process Improvement Supervisor also supports overall department performance to achieve departmental and organizational goals for safety, quality, system performance and cost.

The successful applicant must possess an Associate’s Degree. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Operations Management preferred. Two to three years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment or other applicable experience preferred. The successful applicant must have intermediate computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The successful applicant must be able to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, and weekends; as well as fill in for shift supervisors as needed.
