Human Resources Director

Human Resources Position Summary:

The Human Resources Director is a strategic partner, employee advocate, administrator and champion for change. The director develops, implements and maintains human resources polices, practices and objectives surrounding compliance, staffing, compensation, employee relations, benefits, and development to support the achievement of the Company’s business and strategic goals and to develop and support a positive, employee-oriented, superior workforce.

Human Resources Director Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent combination of education and experience in related areas is required
  • A minimum of 7 years Human Resources experience is required.
  • PHR or SPHR certification required.

Dryer/Storage Assistant Manager

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual to perform as a Dryer/Storage Assistant Manager on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for managing all D/S operations, ensuring the highest quality of rice product; communicate with D/S Manager on all department issues; communicate daily with personnel regarding goals, safety, problem solving, analyzing systems and training. The Dryer/Storage Assistant Manager will also be responsible for ensuring all rules and regulations are followed as outlined in SOP’s and ensure all D/S personnel are properly trained in operating all dryers, shipping and receiving procedures, and proper operation of grain handling equipment. This position must maintain a thorough working knowledge of all processes and equipment, including resolving problems and ensuring all records are initiated and maintained on a daily basis in Lundberg’s grain database.

The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of supervisory experience and possess excellent computer skills; a degree in Business or related field is preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, work well in a team atmosphere, and possess excellent communication skills. A strong attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure is a must. A background in mechanical engineering and an understanding of rice drying and storage, identity preservation, and organic certification rules and regulations are desirable.

Dryer/Storage Maintenance Millwright

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual to perform as a Dryer/Storage Maintenance Millwright on a full-time basis. This position will be responsible for performing quality maintenance and repairs on all equipment used in the Drying and Storage Department, including ensuring a quality preventative and predictive maintenance program on all equipment in all plants. This position is also responsible for maintaining a written inventory of all spare parts, maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all processes and equipment related to the Department, and ensuring the security of all hand and power tools. Must understand preventative and predictive maintenance follow monthly maintenance schedules and organize used equipment storage area.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated and work well in a team atmosphere, possess excellent communication skills, and possess three to five years of mechanical and welding experience. Candidates must possess the ability to arc and oxygen/acetylene weld; electrical background preferred. A strong attention to detail along with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure is a must.
