Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual for the full-time position of Mill Operations
Manager. This position is responsible for managing milling and packaging operations to
ensure that established goals and objectives with regards to quality, price, safety,
efficiency and customer requirements are achieved. This position is responsible for
communicating and coordinating with Dryer, Rice Cakes, Technical Services, Outside
Processing and Processing Departments regarding rice supply, quality, continuous
improvement and issue resolution. The Mill Operations Manager will be responsible for the
department’s capital budget, development of the staff, and will participate in the
development and implementation of new milling and packaging processes, products and
The successful candidate will have 10 years of relevant operations leadership experience
and a Bachelor’s Degree; a technical degree in engineering, milling science, food science
or operations preferred. Candidates must have successful experience leading, coaching
and managing; in-depth knowledge of milling and packaging equipment and systems,
including maintenance activities; and have demonstrated ability to work effectively
across organization boundaries and with diverse teams within a manufacturing
environment. Prior Mill Operations Management experience and experience with implementation
of Total Predictive Maintenance, Lean, or Six Sigma is preferred.
Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual for the full-time position of Safety and Facilities Manager. This position is responsible for leading all aspects of the company-wide human and environmental safety programs including compliance initiatives, training and development, risk assessment and reporting safety metrics. This position will develop and deliver training programs, driving a safety culture that promotes an injury free workplace. The Safety and Facilities Manager also provides leadership and direction to the facility maintenance department responsible for repair, maintenance, installation and continuous improvement of systems/equipment in manufacturing and facility-wide services.
The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of relevant experience; a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Production Operations Management or equivalent field of study OR equivalent experience; possess 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; and have a minimum of 3 years of management experience. Individuals with food industry experience and safety program leadership experience preferred.
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Federal and State regulations with respect to OSHA, Worker’s Compensation, ADA, EPA regulations, and FDA; have the ability to effectively communicate with the entire organization, from hourly employees through executive leadership; have previous exposure and implementation experience to multiple TPM Pillars with emphasis on Planned Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, and Education and Training; and have previous experience with industrial controls using Allen Bradley control platforms.Interested?
