Assistant Controller

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a charismatic and hardworking individual to join our Finance Team as our Assistant Controller. Key responsibilities of the Assistant Controller position include:

  • Coordination of the monthly close process under the direction of the Controller
  •  Provide financial support and analysis to department managers and leadership team members
  • Monthly financial statement preparation for Lundberg Family Farms and related Entities
  • Supervision of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and deduction management processes
  • Provide budget and forecasting support
    The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, 3 years of experience in finance/accounting, and audit experience is a plus. Desired qualifications include and MBA, CPA, or CMA designation.

Cost Accountant

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an individual for the full-time position of Cost Accountant. This position will be a key contact point between the Lundberg Family Farms’ Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Innovation and Finance teams. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing number cruncher who loves the world of cost accounting and finance. If you are a great team player and enjoy solving problems, there is no better place to develop your career than joining our finance team.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the organization through the development of models and analyses including: labor costing, activity costing, commodity pricing, inventory valuation, inventory risk, product pricing strategies and related costing models/analyses as needed by interdepartmental business partners.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA a plus. Candidates must have five years of accounting experience, have three years of product costing experience, including full absorption and applied costing methods, and have experience in Inventory Management; Targit, Tableau, Excel, and other data analysis tools experience preferred.


Planning Coordinator

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking a full-time Planning Coordinator to coordinate, oversee, develop and direct the long-term strategic and annual business planning cycles for the organization. This position is responsible for coordination of the ongoing development of the strategic plan, as well as the annual plans that support its implementation. The Planning Coordinator monitors performance against the plan, and identifies gaps for management to pursue, as well as planning, organizing, and facilitating planning meetings.

The successful candidate will have superior project management, organizational, communication and analytical skills. It is essential that this person work well in multi-disciplinary teams and possess strong interpersonal skills. Prior experience in developing a business plan is required (whether in an academic, public or private setting), and experience in developing a strategic plan is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (or related field) is required. MBA preferred.


Quality Systems Manager

Lundberg Family Farms is seeking an experienced individual as a full-time Quality Systems Manager. This position collaborates with food co-manufacturing, packaging and food ingredients suppliers and distribution center facilities to constantly assess food safety, quality, and certification systems. This position is focused on finding opportunities to implement preventive measures so our food consistently delivers on company, consumer and customer expectations. The Quality Systems Manager will also lead investigations when issues arise to uncover the root causes and implement robust improvements to prevent future occurrence. The Quality Systems Manager is also responsible for managing the company wide Natural Integrated Pest Management Program, facilities janitorial services and food manufacturing waste removal programs.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, such as Food Science, Quality Management, or similar experience (Master’s Degree preferred.) Candidates should have a minimum of seven years in Quality Systems management within the food industry, as well as extensive knowledge in related food quality standards, food production management experience, and HACCP/food safety management. Experience in agriculture and organics is preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent managerial, leadership and communication skills; and have three years of managerial/team lead experience. Candidates should also have knowledge of and experience in trace/recall, critical process measurement, hazard analysis, and product design/specifications.
