Organic Sprouted Korean BBQ Rice
Sweet and savory combine to create the bold Korean BBQ flavor you know and love. With just a hint of smokiness, the spicy Asian seasoning perfectly complements our organic sprouted brown rice to create and unforgettable eating experience. So easy to prepare, serve as a flavorful alternative to a traditional side dish or as a light meal anytime.
In a medium saucepan combine 1¾ cups of water, rice, seasoning and 1 tsp. of olive oil (optional). Stir well and bring to a boil.
Cover and reduce heat to maintain a simmer. Do not lift lid while cooking. Simmer for 35 minutes.
Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
Soak up the compliments.
Stir-fry leftover rice with scrambled eggs, chopped kimchi, peas, and carrots for a twist on fried rice.
Top rice with julienned cucumber and carrots, sautéed bean sprouts and spinach, and a fried egg for a quick and easy bibimbap.
Great with thin slices of grilled skirt steak or flank steak.
