Quinoa Blend – Garlic & Herb
Turn up the flavor with this savory balance of garlic and herb. Our recipe starts with whole grain organic quinoa blended with white rice and finishes with a fragrant herb and seasoning blend. Delightfully balanced and wonderfully delicious!
1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 ¼ cup water, quinoa & rice pouch, seasoning packet, and 1 tsp. olive oil (optional). Stir well and bring to a boil.
2. Cover and reduce heat to low. Do not lift lid while cooking. Simmer for 18 minutes.
3. Remove from heat. Fluff with fork and serve.
4. Soak up the compliments.
Serve with grilled chicken.
Stuff rice in cremini mushrooms, top with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, and bake in oven.
Serve with grilled white fish and a fresh squeeze of lemon juice.
