Organic Wild Rice

Pretty and delicious. This sumptuous organic whole grain rice cooks up beautifully with a savory, nutty flavor and wonderful texture. Naturally nutritious and full of flavor.

Cooking Instructions

  • 8 oz rice (contents of package)
  • 2 1/3 cups liquid (water and/or broth)

Bring liquid to boil in medium saucepan. Stir in rice. Cover with lid. Reduce heat to a fast simmer. Cook 45-50 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand covered 10 minutes. Fluff with fork, salt to taste. Serve.

    The flavor and texture is unlike any other rice I've ever eaten.  It makes the blends pale in comparison. Add some toasted pecans and dried cranberries and it's almost as good as dessert.  Would gladly buy in larger quantities if it would bring the price down a bit.

    I honestly don't know how this product could be made any better.  Like the last comment, I wish it could be purchased in larger quantities at a reduced price.
