Eco-Farmed California White Jasmine Rice
Jasmine is an aromatic long grain rice originally grown only in Thailand. While cooking, this exotic rice fills your kitchen with a delicate scent. The grains cook up moist and tender with a soft texture and delicious flavor. Jasmine rice is very versatile - use it as a side dish or in pilafs and desserts.
Cooking Instructions
- 1 cup Lundberg® California White Jasmine rice
- 1½ cups water or broth
- 1 tbsp. butter (optional)
- salt to taste
Rinse rice. Put all ingredients in a pot with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil, stir once, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Do not remove lid. Remove from heat and allow to sit, covered, for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork. A rice cooker may be used with the same water-to-rice ratio. Yield: 3 cups.
