Chicken & Wehani® Rice with Asparagus
Cooking Instructions:
- 1 to 1-1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup Lundberg Family Farms Wehani® rice
- 1-1/4 cups chicken broth
- 1 (10 ½ oz) can cream of asparagus soup
- 1 (8 to 12 oz) bag frozen asparagus or artichokes
Coat slow cooker with non-stick spray. Layer rice, chicken pieces, and asparagus in slow cooker. Stir together broth and soup; pour over the top and cover. Cook for 4 hours on high, stirring rice and checking for tenderness one hour before done. Serves 4 to 6.
