Ingredients: Organic Parboiled Brown Rice, Organic Quinoa, Organic Onion, Organic Tomato, Sea Salt, Organic Garlic, Organic Spices, Organic Bell Pepper, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Brown Rice Flour, Citric Acid, Natural Flavor.
- In a medium saucepan combine 1 3/4 cups of water, rice, contents of seasoning pouch, 1 tsp. of olive oil (optional). Stir well and bring to a boil.
- Cover and reduce heat to low. Do not lift lid while cooking. Simmer for 28 minutes.
- Remove from heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
- Soak up the compliments.
Stir in warmed, cooked chicken chorizo, red and green bell peppers, feta cheese, a squeeze of lemon, a dash of crushed chili flakes; heat through. Garnish with cilantro.
Makes a great burrito filling by adding canned black beans, grated cheese, and salsa.
